Add-Ons
A full-body exfoliation treatment for a smooth, refreshed finish.
Gulf sun and salt water leave skin rougher than it looks. Fifteen minutes added to your massage and Naples stops showing on your shoulders.
The Experience
An exfoliating scrub worked over the body before your massage, lifting dead skin and leaving everything noticeably smoother. The texture is granular and the pressure is light - this is a polish, not deep work. It is rinsed or removed before the massage begins, so the oils and lotion that follow go onto freshly exfoliated skin and absorb properly.
If you are pregnant, recovering from surgery or managing a medical condition, please check with your physician first and tell your therapist when you arrive.
Good to Know
Before the massage. Exfoliating first means the massage lotion goes onto clean, smooth skin and absorbs much better, and it leaves the relaxing part of the appointment as the finish rather than the middle.
Often, with a lighter touch - tell your therapist and they will adjust the pressure and the amount used. If your skin is currently irritated, reacting or recently sunburned, it is better to wait until it has fully settled.
Afterwards, and ideally not the same day. Exfoliating freshly shaved skin can sting and leave it irritated. Leave a day either side and you will get a better result from both.
A surprising amount. Salt water, chlorine and air conditioning all leave skin rough and dull even when the air is humid. Regular exfoliation keeps it smooth and helps moisturiser work, which is why it is one of our most-added extras.
