The Experience
What to Expect
A facial built around the realities of a face that gets shaved. Deeper cleansing, exfoliation aimed at ingrown hairs and razor bumps, extractions where needed, and a calming mask to settle any irritation. Nothing about it is fussy or scented like a perfume counter, and your esthetician will happily explain what each step is for. Most first-time guests are surprised how much of the hour is simply relaxing.

Common Questions
Should I shave before a facial?
Not immediately before. Shaving leaves the skin sensitive, and exfoliation on freshly shaved skin can sting. A day of growth is ideal. If you prefer to be clean-shaven, shave the evening before rather than on the way to the appointment.
Will it help with ingrown hairs?
It is one of the main reasons men book it. Exfoliation and extractions lift and clear the congestion that traps hairs, and your esthetician can suggest what to change at home. Persistent or infected ingrowns are worth showing to a physician.
I have never had a facial. Is it awkward?
No, and most of our male guests say the same afterwards. You lie down, your esthetician explains what they are doing, and the majority of the hour is quiet. There is no pressure to buy anything and no expectation that you know the terminology.
Will my face look obviously treated?
Skin usually looks cleaner and a little brighter rather than visibly done. Mild pinkness can last an hour or two if you have had extractions. Nobody will be able to tell you spent the afternoon at a spa unless you tell them.
