The Experience
What to Expect
Our signature facial, and the longest on the menu. A hundred minutes allows every step to be done properly and slowly - layered cleansing, exfoliation, extractions where needed, a sequence of masks rather than one, and extended massage through the face, neck, decolletage, shoulders, hands and scalp. It is as much an hour and a half of being looked after as it is a skincare appointment, which is exactly what it is designed to be.

What makes it different from a standard facial?
Time, mostly, and what time allows. Every step is extended, there is more than one mask, and the massage runs well beyond the face to the shoulders, hands and scalp. Nothing is compressed to fit the clock, which is the whole point of the appointment.
Is it worth booking for a first facial?
It is a wonderful first facial if you want the full experience and have the time. If you mainly want to find out how your skin responds, Signature Glow is a shorter and less expensive way in, and you can always come back for the Royal Ritual afterwards.
Does it make a good gift?
It is one of our most popular gifts, particularly for someone who never books time for themselves. Gift cards can be bought online for any amount and are delivered by email, so a last-minute present still arrives looking considered.
How far ahead should I book?
Longer appointments have fewer slots in the day, so a week or more ahead is wise, and more than that in season or around a holiday. If your date is fixed, book first and adjust the service afterwards if you change your mind.
